Abundance Network

The Abundance Network is a gathering of people from the Presbytery of the Western Reserve who have a passion to engage in anti-poverty ministries in both local and global arenas. We focus on how poverty connects with other issues of health, racism, education, and food access. The Abundance Network works in partnership with the Presbyterian Hunger Program (PHP) and Bread for the World, as well as other local organizations.

Usual Meeting Time

The third Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. Meetings are currently occurring over Zoom.

Resources from the Network

See below for quick resources from the Network, or visit the Resource Center for more.

The Abundance Network strives to offer a variety of ways for folks in the Presbytery to consider what it means to recognize and live into abundance, in both personal and communal ways. Stay tuned for what that will look like!

We would like to encourage our PWR congregations who have found creative and innovative ways to engage in anti-poverty ministries to share that information with our Network.

We also want to challenge our congregations and members to continue making your voices heard in support of policies that will particularly benefit our sisters and brothers for whom hunger, poverty, racism, homelessness, poor health, or lack of adequate education are every day realities. Our partner Bread for the World has an abundance of helpful resources, whether you want to write a letter to Congress or have a group discussion around the Racial Wealth Gap in the US.
